Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Estimasys, whether anonymously or through a registered account, you state that you have read, understood and fully accepted these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any of the terms below, you should not use the service.

If you use Estimasys on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind it to these Terms.

Description of the service

Estimasys offers a set of online tools for analyzing CAD files in formats such as STEP, STP and STL. Functions include, among others: manufacturing cost calculation, ideal blank identification, format conversion, Z origin adjustment and AI-assisted manufacturing routing generation.

The tools are provided "as is" and may evolve, be added or removed at any time. Features in Beta or Coming soon stage may exhibit unstable behavior and are subject to change without notice.

Account and registration

Some features require registration. You agree to provide true, up-to-date and complete information, and to keep your credentials confidential. Activities performed from your account will be considered your responsibility.

If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, notify us immediately at the email address indicated at the end of this document.

Free plan and limits

Each analysis, conversion, blank calculation, Z adjustment or routing generation counts as one task. Attempts that fail for technical reasons on our end are not counted.

For higher volumes or continuous use in a corporate environment, we offer paid plans and API integration. Details are available on the pricing page.

Uploaded files

Files you upload to Estimasys are treated as confidential. Processing takes place in an isolated environment, encrypted in transit and at rest, and files are not used to train models, sold or shared with third parties without your explicit consent.

By default, files uploaded in anonymous sessions are automatically removed within 24 hours of the analysis being completed. For registered users, files remain available in the history until manually deleted. Additional details are in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload files or content for which you do not hold the rights;
• attempt to circumvent free plan limits through automation, multiple accounts or other means;
• use the service for illegal, dangerous activities or activities that violate third-party rights;
• perform reverse engineering, mass scraping or attempt to compromise the platform's security;
• resell or redistribute results as if they were manually produced by licensed engineers.

Failure to comply with this section may lead to suspension or termination of the account without prior notice.

Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the CAD files you upload. Estimasys retains the rights to the software, the Estimasys brand, algorithms and the platform's visual presentation.

The reports and routings generated may be used freely within the context of your organization and may be shared with suppliers and customers, provided that the indication that they were produced by the platform is not altered.

Nature of estimates

The cost, time and routing estimates generated by Estimasys are indicative and produced by automated algorithms based on geometry, standard parameters and reference tables. They do not replace a formal quote, validation by a process engineer or contract with a supplier.

We recommend confirming critical values with your manufacturing department before closing contracts, issuing purchase orders or making relevant financial decisions.

Availability

We strive to keep the service available 24 hours a day, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Scheduled maintenance, third-party failures or force majeure events may cause temporary unavailability. Whenever possible, we will announce maintenance in advance via the status page.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Brazilian law, Estimasys will not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, data loss caused by misuse of the service, or decisions made solely based on estimates generated by the platform.

Estimasys's total liability, under any circumstance, is limited to the amount actually paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the event that gave rise to the claim. For free plan users, this limit is considered zero.

Termination

You may close your account at any time through the settings or by requesting deletion by email. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts in case of violation of these Terms, fraud, abuse of the free plan or prolonged inactivity.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the service or in legislation. Relevant changes will be communicated by email (for registered users) or by banner on the platform with at least 15 days' notice. Continued use after the changes take effect implies acceptance.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of the district of São Paulo/SP are elected to settle any disputes, with waiver of any other, however privileged it may be.
